Day 20 Devotional – Psalm 91:15

“He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him.”

Good morning,

We’ve made it to Day 20—just one day away from completing this incredible 21-day fast! Psalm 91:15 serves as a powerful reminder that God hears us when we call upon Him. He promises to answer, be with us in times of trouble, deliver us, and even honor us. These are assurances from a loving Father who delights in our faithfulness and devotion.

Reflect on the progress you’ve made—both spiritually and physically—during this fast. Your perseverance has been a testimony of faith, and God has been moving in ways both seen and unseen. Some of you may already be experiencing breakthroughs, while others may still be waiting for the manifestation of His promises. Either way, trust that He is working all things together for your good.

As we prepare to finish strong, let the hope of what God has done—and is still doing—inspire you. Your fasting and prayers have not been in vain. Let’s look forward to gathering in corporate worship on Sunday to celebrate the victories and blessings this season has brought.

During this fast, many of you have overcome physical challenges, such as hunger, fatigue, or discomfort. Others have battled spiritual obstacles like doubt or discouragement. Yet here you are—standing firm and pressing forward. That is evidence of God’s sustaining power at work in you.

Let this be a moment of hope and reflection. Think back to Day 1 and consider how far you’ve come. Perhaps you’ve developed a deeper prayer life, received clarity about a situation, or grown closer to God. Maybe He has revealed areas in need of healing or brought restoration to relationships. Whatever the case, your perseverance is producing fruit that will last.

Prayer Points

 1. Gratitude for God’s Faithfulness

Lord, we thank You for sustaining us through this fast and for the progress we’ve made. We are grateful for Your presence and promises.

 2. Perseverance to Finish Strong

Father, give us strength and focus to finish this fast with faith and joy. Let us press forward with confidence, trusting in Your power and provision.

 3. Manifestation of Breakthroughs

Lord, we call upon You to bring forth breakthroughs in every area of our lives—spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial. Answer our prayers and deliver us, as You have promised.

 4. Unity and Celebration in Worship

Father, we pray for a powerful move of Your Spirit as we come together for corporate worship on Sunday. Let it be a time of celebration, testimony, and renewed faith.

 5. Hope for the Future

Lord, fill our hearts with hope as we look forward to what You will continue to do after this fast. Strengthen our faith and help us to remain steadfast in seeking You.

Closing Prayer

Heavenly Father, we thank You for bringing us to Day 20 of this fast. You have been faithful to sustain us and guide us every step of the way. As we prepare to finish, give us the strength to persevere and the hope to believe for greater things. Thank You for answering our prayers, being with us in every trial, and delivering us. We look forward to gathering together in worship to celebrate Your goodness and faithfulness. May all glory and honor be Yours, now and forever. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Challenge for Today

Spend time reflecting on the spiritual, emotional, and physical progress you’ve made during this fast. Write down one testimony of what God has done for you and prepare to share it during Sunday worship.

Let’s finish strong. Join us for corporate worship on Sunday as we break the fast together and celebrate all that God has done. Come ready to share your testimony and give God the glory for His faithfulness! See you at The Fountain!
