Good Morning
Scripture: “Behold, I give you authority… over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” — Luke 10:19
As we progress through Week 3 of our fast, today is Day 16 and we begin it with a reminder of a powerful truth: it is never too late for God to use us. Many believers quietly carry the belief that they have missed their moment — that past mistakes, sinful seasons, delayed obedience, broken choices, or simply age have disqualified them from God’s purpose. But Scripture declares otherwise. God’s calling is not canceled by time. His plans are not defeated by our failures. His power is not limited by our past. What He began in us, He is still willing and able to complete.
Sometimes the greatest barrier to God’s work is not Satan, not circumstance, not history — but ourselves. We disqualify ourselves. We hide. We delay. We retreat. Yet God still speaks as He did through Caleb when the children of Israel tried to shrink back from the seemingly insurmountable task of possessing unknown territory: “You are well able.” The authority Christ gives is not based on our perfection but on His victory. Walking in spiritual authority means stepping forward despite insecurity, shame, or regret, trusting that God redeems time and restores purpose.
Even if you feel far from where you should be, God’s mercy is reaching for you. If you feel too old to birth what He promised, remember that Sarah conceived in old age. If you feel your past has blocked destiny, remember that Paul once persecuted the church before leading it. If you feel delayed, remember Moses was called at eighty. Time does not stop God — only surrender unlocks Him.
So today we pray, “Lord, help me walk in Your authority.” You must move yourself out of the way. Release the excuses. Lay down the shame. Step into what God still desires to do through you. You are still able — because God is still willing.
Prayer:
Lord, help me walk in Your authority. Remove every lie that says I am disqualified, delayed, or too late. I surrender my past, my fear, and my excuses. Use me again for Your purpose. Amen.
