Day 15 - Fasting & Prayer

“Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.”

Good morning,

We have entered the final week of our 21-day fast—congratulations, church family! You’ve come so far in this spiritual journey, and the finish line is in sight. Day 15 is a reminder to reflect on what God has already done during this fast while pressing forward with expectation for what is yet to come.

Psalm 91:8 reminds us that God is at work even when it seems like the forces of evil and chaos are winning. While the wicked may seem to prosper, God assures us that we will see His justice prevail. As we fast, we are aligning ourselves with God’s will and opening our eyes to the spiritual rewards of walking in obedience to Him.

Through this fast, we’ve already seen God moving mightily. Testimonies of breakthrough, healing, and spiritual renewal are beginning to flow. New believers are coming forward, and lives are being transformed. As we continue this final stretch, let us keep our eyes fixed on God, knowing that He is bringing victory and blessing to those who trust in Him.

To those who have been fasting since Day 1: Your perseverance is an offering of faith, and God sees your sacrifice. Keep pressing forward—you are on the home stretch! To new believers or anyone who has not yet joined the fast: It’s not too late! There are great blessings—spiritual, psychological, and physical—waiting for you as you commit to this time of seeking God.

Join us for corporate prayer midweek, where we will seek the Lord together and fan the flames of this spiritual momentum. Then, on Sunday, we will break the fast as a united church family, celebrating and worshiping the God who has sustained us and poured out His Spirit on us.

Throughout this fast, we’ve seen the Holy Spirit moving in powerful ways. People are experiencing peace where there was once anxiety, joy where there was sorrow, and healing where there was brokenness. Chains of addiction are being broken, families are being restored, and new levels of faith are being activated.

Let us continue to pray with expectation for more of God’s power to manifest in our lives and our church. God is faithful to reward those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6).

Prayer Points

 1. Thanksgiving for What God Has Done:

Lord, we thank You for the testimonies and breakthroughs we have already seen during this fast. We give You all the glory for Your faithfulness.

 2. Strength for the Final Week:

Father, give us the strength to press on during this final week. Renew our minds and bodies as we seek to draw closer to You.

 3. An Outpouring of the Holy Spirit:

Lord, we ask for a continued outpouring of Your Spirit in our church. Let this fast ignite revival in our hearts and in our community.

 4. Encouragement for New Believers:

Father, encourage those who are new to the faith to join in the fast and experience the blessings of seeking You. Let them feel welcomed and strengthened by our church family.

 5. Unity in Worship and Celebration:

Lord, as we prepare to break the fast on Sunday, unify us as a church body. Let our worship be a sweet fragrance to You, and let Your glory fill our gathering.

God, we thank You for carrying us through this fast and for all the ways You have been moving in our lives. As we enter this final week, give us the strength to finish well and the faith to expect even greater things from You. Open the hearts of new believers and those who are just beginning this journey. Let this fast be a testimony of Your goodness and power. We look forward to celebrating together as one church family, giving You all the glory. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Invite a friend, family member, or coworker to join the fast or attend the midweek prayer service. Share what God has been doing in your life and encourage them to experience His power for themselves.

Reminder:

Join us this week for corporate prayer and celebration! Let’s gather as one body to witness the glory of God as He continues to move mightily among us. Sunday will be a day of worship, thanksgiving, and breakthrough as we break the fast together. Let’s finish strong!
