Day 10 of our 21-day Fast

Good morning, wonderful people of God!

As we step into Day 10 of our 21-day fast, we are reminded of the faithfulness of our God and His unfailing promises. Psalm 91:3 declares, “Surely He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.” What a powerful assurance! As we fast and pray, we stand on this promise, knowing that God is our refuge, our protector, and our deliverer. He is breaking chains, dismantling traps, and shielding us from harm—spiritually, emotionally, and physically.

By this stage, your body is adjusting to the fast. Your digestive system is resting, your energy levels might fluctuate, but your spirit is gaining strength. Detoxification is happening, both physically and spiritually, as God is purging distractions, unhealthy patterns, and burdens from your life. This is a time of renewal and clarity, as your spirit aligns more deeply with His will.

As it is day 10, the biblical significance of this day and its relevance to our fast may surprise you. The number 10 in the Bible often signifies completion, divine order, and responsibility. Think of the Ten Commandments—God’s divine law for His people—or the 10 plagues of Egypt that demonstrated His sovereign power. Spiritually, Day 10 is a marker of completion for one phase and preparation for what lies ahead. In your life, this symbolizes that God is bringing divine order to areas of chaos and establishing His perfect will in you. Amen.

On this day, expect increased sensitivity to God’s voice: your spirit is more attuned to hear Him as distractions fade away.

 • Breaking of Strongholds: Patterns of sin, fear, or worry are being dismantled.

 • Empowerment in Prayer: Your intercession is stronger and more focused, impacting not just your life but those around you.

 • Strengthened Faith: You are seeing God’s hand move, building trust and expectancy for the days ahead.

This is a powerful time to gather together in God’s house! There is a special anointing in the corporate devotion of His people. As we worship, pray, and fast together, the atmosphere becomes charged with His presence. Breakthroughs are happening, lives are being transformed, and God is releasing fresh vision. Don’t miss the opportunity to experience this glorious move of God in the assembly of believers. Come and be part of what God is doing in our midst!

Prayer Points

 1. Thanksgiving: Father, thank You for Your faithfulness and for sustaining us during this fast. We praise You for the breakthroughs already unfolding in our lives.

 2. Protection: Lord, thank You for delivering us from every snare of the enemy and keeping us safe under Your wings.

 3. Spiritual Renewal: God, create in us clean hearts and renew right spirits within us. Let us walk in divine order and obedience to Your will.

4. Corporate Anointing: Holy Spirit, move mightily in our church. Unite us as a body and pour out fresh oil as we seek You together.

 5. Strength for the Journey: Father, give us endurance to finish this fast strong, trusting in Your power and promises.

God has brought you to this point for a purpose. Keep pressing in, for greater things are ahead! His protection surrounds you, His grace sustains you, and His power is working in you. Together, as a church, we are standing in faith and witnessing the glory of God in ways we’ve never seen before.
