Day 19 Devotional – Psalm 91:14

“Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.”

Good morning church family,

We are now at Day 19 of this incredible journey, and the finish line is in sight! Psalm 91:14 reminds us of God’s tender promise to deliver and exalt those who love and trust Him. This verse is a declaration of the deep, personal relationship God desires with His people—a relationship rooted in love, trust, and the knowledge of His name.

At this stage of the fast, you may be feeling the effects both physically and spiritually. Physically, your body has likely adjusted to the rhythms of fasting, with increased clarity and energy emerging for many. Spiritually, your sensitivity to God’s voice may be sharper, and you might find your faith strengthened as you press deeper into His presence. For some, the battle may feel more intense, but remember: victory is near, and God’s promises are sure.

Let this verse encourage you to persevere with courage and anticipation. God sees your sacrifices and hears your prayers. He has promised to deliver you, elevate you, and respond to your trust in Him. Make bold spiritual declarations today, trusting that the seeds you’ve sown during this fast will bear fruit in ways beyond what you can imagine.

As you near the end of this fast, remember that fasting is not just about what we give up but about what we gain—greater intimacy with God, spiritual breakthroughs, and alignment with His will. Every prayer you’ve prayed and every sacrifice you’ve made has been a fragrant offering to the Lord.

Be encouraged to persevere with fortitude. Trust that God is working behind the scenes, orchestrating answers to your prayers. As Isaiah 40:31 reminds us: “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

Let us finish this fast strong, with hearts full of anticipation for the mighty things God will do in our lives, our families, and our church.

Spiritual Declarations

 • I declare that I love and trust the Lord with my whole heart, and He will deliver me.

 • I declare that God will answer my prayers and lift me up for His glory.

 • I declare that every seed I’ve sown in this fast will bear fruit in due season.

 • I declare that the Lord is my strength and my shield, and He will sustain me to the finish.

 • I declare that breakthrough is coming, and I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

Prayer Points

 1. Endurance and Strength to Finish the Fast

Lord, renew our strength as we press toward the finish. Give us the courage and fortitude to complete this journey with joy and faith.

 2. Trust in God’s Promises

Father, we place our trust in You, knowing that You will deliver us and exalt us as we set our love upon You. Help us to wait on You with patience and confidence.

 3. Spiritual Breakthroughs and Answers to Prayer

Lord, respond to the prayers we’ve lifted during this fast. Let spiritual, physical, and emotional breakthroughs manifest in our lives and in our church.

 4. Protection and Guidance for the Church

Father, continue to protect our church family and guide us in Your will. Bless our leadership, our members, and the new believers aligning themselves with Your vision.

 5. Healing and Restoration

Lord, restore what has been broken, heal what has been wounded, and bring peace to every area of our lives. Let us emerge from this fast renewed and whole.

Closing Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for carrying us through to Day 19 of this fast. Thank You for the strength, perseverance, and breakthroughs You have already given us. We trust in Your promises to deliver and elevate those who love and know You. Help us to finish this fast with courage, anticipation, and unwavering faith. We declare victory over every challenge and trust that You are responding to our prayers in ways that exceed our understanding. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Challenge for Today

Make a list of three spiritual declarations you will repeat throughout the day to strengthen your faith. Spend time reflecting on how God has already been moving during this fast, and thank Him for the answers that are yet to come.

Stay focused as we approach the finish line. Trust that God is working all things together for your good. Persevere with courage and anticipation, knowing that your prayers and sacrifices are making an eternal impact!

Blessings to you…

Pastor
